Weather: Mild and Sunny
Finds: 47
Got down to the beach in good time and found 12 people down there already. It was an exceptionally low tide, presumably due to the 'super moon' (Where the Moon is at it's closest to Earth). However, most of good spots were covered in silt, slipper shells, and mussels. Very disappointing. Reason? Once again, the weather has been particularly quiet lately. It really looks like you've got to have a storm in the days leading up to a visit to clear the silt.
Finds: S. macrota x 28; C. hopei x 13; S. teretidens x 3; O. winkleri x 1; I. affinis x 1; turtle rib (?)
